About Me
I was introduced to yoga in 1991 at the age of 25 during a pivotal time in my life. It quickly became a lifeline to help me navigate the ups and downs of everyday living. As I progressed in my yoga practice, meditation also became an important part of my daily routine. I am grateful to have had these practices to help me journey with my husband through births and deaths, raising 3 boys, embracing empty nesting, a breast cancer diagnosis and a pandemic. Yoga and meditation are not about perfect poses or an absolutely quiet mind to me, it’s about showing up everyday with spiritual tools to ride out the waves of life - feeling fully the scary times and the joys!

I received my 200 hour certification at Yoga Mountain in New City, NY in 2009. In addition, I have a certification in Intensati (a mind, body and spirit yoga/exercise class developed by Patricia Moreno).

I started teaching in 2010. My yoga and meditation classes are a space for my students and I to journey a path together of gentle awareness of our thoughts, attitudes and actions, using our awareness to line up ourselves with who we truly want to be and at the same time getting comfortable with a true connection with ourselves. It is a yoga of integrity, an opportunity to connect with and live authentically through movement, meditation and spiritual dharma. I passionately want to share with my students all the tools I use on a daily basis to live a perfectly imperfect life!
