February 2024 Week 3

What Is Meant For Me Will Not Pass Me By

“What is meant for you will arrive in your life and it will remain in your life. What did not transpire was not meant to; the end of that journey would not have led you somewhere you would have wanted or needed to be. If you are really honest with yourself, you know this on the inside. There were so many signs that you willingly brushed over in the heat of blind hope. If you spend your life fixated on the might-have-beens, you miss out on the steady currents that have carried you all this way. Notice what stays. Notice what is constant. Notice what perseveres. These are the things that the song of your life will be composed of.” Brianna Wiest

I read this last week and wow does that line up with our intention - “What is meant for me will not pass me by”. This reading gives me another perspective on our intention. First, I have been looking at it as an “energy softener” for our New Year Resolutions. This intention has allowed me to think of what it is I want in this coming year and who I want to be, but with a less rigid holding on as if I need something to happen to be complete. This softens that energy to a space of allowing rather than demanding.

Now lets use Brianna’s reading and our intention. Is there anything that has happened that you are now questioning your decision or your capabilities? If so, can you think the story through and trust that whatever did not transpire was not meant to be? Think of a situation. I have one very clear at the forefront of my mind. Think it through to what you think is the “end” or the opposite outcome. Can you see how what you are questioning would NOT have led you where you would have wanted or needed to be? Further, when we are in that space of doubt and questioning and replaying we are not present to what is in front of us and we are missing the gifts in our life.

Lets be conscious this week of how much time we spend doubting or questioning ourselves and how present we are to what is right in front of us.
