January 2025 Week 5

“The Stillness We Seek Comes From Within” has been, of course, relevant and helpful for me! January is a time of intention setting and shifting, but remember we used this intention to first seek inside for our true connection and stillness before trying to “right all wrongs” in our lives. There is another reason this intention has helped me. Normally January is a month I embrace to slow down, hunker down and embrace mother natures stillness of winter here at the beach in RI. However, this year January was a time of travel and I was not here as much as I wanted to be. It was busy and active, which if you know me, you know I love that pace but I was craving the quiet of my winter retreat at home. I kept going back to this intention and daily seeking stillness inside even in the flurry of activity and travel.
Going back to my original reason for this intention, I have been home for a few days and have had the chance to connect with my life here and the peace it offers me. From here I can start to look at my year ahead and how I want to move forward. BUT…..having said that, I will be honest I am not settled. I feel ungrounded and scattered from being away as well as the forward looking ahead of in a few weeks time traveling cross country with my husband and dog for a couple of months - oh boy lol, for all involved I must get grounded before I go!
Thank goodness the cleanse is coming nest week which drops me right into a deep dive of spiritual work and self discovery - perfect timing. And as far as perfect timing goes - today is the new moon in Capricorn: The New Moon in Capricorn on January 29, 2025, symbolizes a time for reflection and setting new intentions. This phase supports innovation, breaking free from old habits, and pursuing social change. It encourages joining like-minded groups for greater impact. So if that doesn’t describe the cleanse or even the Calm Crew itself on a weekly basis, nothing does. Thank you GOD, Universe or spiritual source for putting me in the right place at the right time.
